I swear, I swear was all he could say…
She didn’t even think once before she left,
Her love was all he knew,
It was all he felt,
It seemed like a book of tragedy,
Story running, pages turning,
Feeling those burning moments gone,
Like, as if there will be no dawn.
The breeze blew, the rivers flowed,
Days changed, ways changed.
And for once he knew promises were broken,
Dreaded words were spoken.
The tears never dried,
No matter how he tried,
Feelings never melt-
She never ever felt.
All he asked was some trust,
Some promises they made,
Some memories they bade,
Little hope of love was seen in his eyes,
All he wanted was to be loved,
By someone special and beloved.
