She didn’t even think once before she left,

Her love was all he knew,

It was all he felt,

It seemed like a book of tragedy,

Story running, pages turning,

Feeling those burning moments gone,

Like, as if there will be no dawn.

The breeze blew, the rivers flowed,

Days changed, ways changed.

And for once he knew promises were broken,

Dreaded words were spoken.

The tears never dried,
